We booked the Wedding package through Virgin Weddings expecting a very special occasion and exeptional service unfortunatly we received neither.

We found the Virgin staff at the Airport to be very unhelpful indeed and was more or less left to our own devices as to where to find the bus to go to the hotel.

The Hotel itself was very nice and the staff freindly and helpful. Our first room was a big dissapointment as we requested a room with a view of the beach. We spoke to the reception staff and were moved to another room with an wonderful view overloooking the ocean and endless beach. The wedding co-ordinator was not that professional and we didnt feel our requests were met by him at all. The hotel does not have a gazebo or any special area to hold the weddding. We expected a gazebo (or at least a platform) full of flowers to make the wedding service special but there was nothing. We got married on the beach in front of sunbathers and felt totally over dressed! We payed extra for a video to be taken of the ceremony but this was taken by photographer as well as the photo's.

We feel very let down by Virgin, this was supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime but although we had a good time and very happy to get married we felt this particular hotel should not be advertised as a wedding hotel it does not off the location or the staff co-ordinator to make it a perfect dream wedding. Book elsewhere if your getting married!!!!
